What to check before hiring a private tutor?

One of the most astonishing facts is that there are over 300 private tutors available in just the area of mira road. Can you imagine the competition among them as private tutors in Mumbai? There are a lot of options available but there are numerous factors that should be checked before having home tutors in mira road or for that matter hiring tutors anywhere. The following factors should be checked before hiring private tutors.

Background of the tutor

The most crucial one is the background of the teacher, that too not in terms of educational qualifications or knowledge. The background check should be done for a person's identification, history, references, criminal record etc. It is very important in terms of security of your child as well as your house.

Educational qualifications

After checking the background of the tutors, I believe that there is a big need to check the educational qualifications of the teacher. We can always ask for the degrees of the tutor. There have been a lot of instances where people have faked their degree, and have turned out to be a fraud.  This can ruin the child’s education, because it may happen that he may get equipped with wrong knowledge. Wrong knowledge in childhood is worse than no knowledge.

Company

When it comes to Mumbai, and especially private tutors in mira road; it is very crucial to have a background check of the company as well. Believe me, when it comes to Mumbai; what you see isn’t always true. You need to also have a one to one talk with the coordinator of the company. When hiring tutors from a private company, I would always recommend talking to the company and making every terms and conditions clear. No amount of inflexibility and inconvenience is acceptable when it comes to the bright future of the student.
